]]> Paseo de Montejo is one of the central avenues of Mérida. The people of Merida like to walk there in the afternoon or on Sunday. Its wide sidewalks full of trees make the walk pleasant. It is also an avenue marked by history. It is flanked at one end by the statue of Montejo, the colonizer of Mérida and at the other end of the Monumento A La Patria.
